原宿へNo.22リーマンプロデュースの「Soul Switch」のイベントを見に行く。
本日は、No.16アトムンがメンバーで参加するバンド「スイカ」のライブである。
心地よい声でささやく詩人のtoto、ウッドベースで弾き語りラップをするtakatsuki、力の抜けたmcとパワフルなピアノの音を奏でるkazutake、これまた心地良いリズムを刻むketzという素晴らしいメンバー構成である。
スイカがどんどん進化しているのが、音楽に詳しくないイシコでもわかる。
その進化に合わせて８ヶ月に１枚のハイペースペースでアルバムをリリースしているのもうなずける。
来月は全国のライブハウスを行脚するそうだ。
その行脚中も進化が続きそうである。
ワゴン一台の全国ツアー。
その行為自体も楽しそうである。
しばらく追いかけたいバンドであることは間違いない。
